Crescent Point Energy Trust confirms April 2009 distribution


    CALGARY, April 15 /CNW/ - Crescent Point Energy Trust ("Crescent Point"
or the "Trust") confirms that the cash distribution to be paid on May 15,
2009, in respect of April 2009 production, for unitholders of record on April
30, 2009 will be $0.23 per trust unit. The ex-distribution date is April 28,
2009.

    Crescent Point Energy Trust is a conventional oil and gas income trust
with assets strategically focused in properties comprised of high quality,
